พบผู้เสียชีวิตจากโรคแอนแทรกซ์ที่มุกดาหาร หน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องเร่งควบคุมโรค

เมื่อวันที่ 1 พฤษภาคม 2568 นพ.ณรงค์ จันทร์แก้ว นายแพทย์สาธารณสุขจังหวัดมุกดาหาร เปิดเผยว่า มีผู้เสียชีวิต 1 รายจากโรคแอนแทรกซ์ในพื้นที่อำเภอดอนตาล จังหวัดมุกดาหาร โดยผู้เสียชีวิตมีประวัติการรับประทานเนื้อวัวร่วมกับผู้ติดเชื้อ

หลังจากพบผู้เสียชีวิตดังกล่าว สำนักงานสาธารณสุขจังหวัดมุกดาหารได้ประกาศพื้นที่เฝ้าระวังโรคและดำเนินการเฝ้าระวังกลุ่มเสี่ยงที่รับประทานเนื้อวัวร่วมกับผู้ติดเชื้อ โดยได้ให้ยาปฏิชีวนะเพื่อป้องกันการเกิดโรคตั้งแต่วันที่ 30 เมษายนที่ผ่านมา .​

โรคแอนแทรกซ์เป็นโรคติดเชื้อแบคทีเรีย Bacillus anthracis ซึ่งสามารถติดต่อจากสัตว์สู่คนผ่านการสัมผัสสัตว์ป่วยหรือซากสัตว์ที่ติดเชื้อ โดยเฉพาะวัว ควาย หรือสัตว์กินหญ้า . อาการของโรคแบ่งออกเป็น 3 ระบบตามการสัมผัสเชื้อ ได้แก่ อาการทางผิวหนัง ระบบทางเดินอาหาร และระบบทางเดินหายใจ .​

เพจ Drama-addict ได้โพสต์ข้อความระบุถึงสถานการณ์การระบาดของโรคแอนแทรกซ์ในพื้นที่ใกล้เคียง โดยเฉพาะใน สปป.ลาว ที่มีรายงานผู้ติดเชื้อเพิ่มขึ้นถึงกว่า 50 ราย และมีสัตว์ป่วยตายจำนวนมาก

ประชาชนที่พบสัตว์ป่วยหรือตายผิดปกติควรแจ้งหน่วยงานปศุสัตว์ในพื้นที่ และหลีกเลี่ยงการสัมผัสหรือบริโภคเนื้อสัตว์ที่ไม่ผ่านการปรุงสุกอย่างถูกต้อง

One Dead from Anthrax in Mukdahan; Authorities Urgently Implement Disease Control Measures

On May 1, 2025, Dr. Narong Chankaew, the Public Health Doctor of Mukdahan Province, reported that one person had died from anthrax in Don Tan District, Mukdahan. The deceased had a history of consuming beef together with another individual who was infected with the disease.

Following the fatality, the Mukdahan Provincial Public Health Office declared the area under disease surveillance and began monitoring individuals who consumed beef with the patient. Antibiotics have been provided to at-risk individuals since April 30 to prevent the spread of the infection.

Anthrax is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium Bacillus anthracis, which can be transmitted from animals to humans through direct contact with infected animals or their carcasses—especially cattle, buffalo, or other grazing animals.
Symptoms are categorized based on the route of exposure:

• Cutaneous (skin contact)

• Gastrointestinal (consumption of contaminated meat)

• Respiratory (inhalation of spores)

The well-known Facebook page “Drama-addict” posted a warning about the anthrax outbreak in neighboring areas, especially in Laos, where over 50 cases have been reported, along with numerous livestock deaths.

Authorities urge the public to report any unusual animal deaths or illness to local livestock officials. People are also advised to avoid touching or consuming raw or undercooked meat from unreliable sources.
